Aching Arches / Plantar Fasciitis / Heel Spurs
Share
Aching arches and Plantar Fasciitis (PLAN-ter Fash-ee-EYE-tus) are two of the most common foot concerns. The Plantar Fascia is the ligament that connects your heel bone to your toes, supporting the arch of your foot. If strained it can get very tender and hurt when you stand or walk. Modern shoes often don't have contoured arch support and by the end of the day the muscles supporting the arches can feel tired and achy.
What can you do?
- Footwear, such as Maseur Gentle, with contoured arch support or a contoured insole can help support feet.
- Gentle foot and leg stretches throughout the day can also help release muscle strain. Always check with a medical professional before starting any new physical exercise.
- Massage can help relieve aching feet.
